Instructional Ale-Brewing Labels

This Badger State Beer Label Shows Graphics of How To Craft Beer

The Studiomax Design team created this unique instructional beer-making label for Badger State Brewing Company's 'Pilot Series.' The labels feature graphic icons that relate the process of making the delicious beer.

All of the Badger State Brewing Company's beers are hand-crafted and made in small batches, which inspired the design team to emphasize this manual labor. The labels consist of small cartoon drawings of items such as bubbles and beer vats. There is also a designated empty space for the brewer to write the type of beer, the date is was brewed and the batch number.

The new Pilot Series is sold exclusively in the brewery's tap room, which also motivated the design team to create a label that suited the brand and the environment.
