Rough Concrete Abodes

The Ayvalaan House is a Lofted and Luxe Private Family Home

Situated on a hillside in Guatemala, the Ayvalaan House from Paz Arquitectura seamlessly mixes glass, concrete and wood to form a unique and modern dwelling.

The rough concrete facade offers a one-of-a-kind contrast from the surrounding greenery, creating an atmosphere that is private and serene. The lower half of the interior offers multiple offices and the main living area that walk out onto the lowest of the four patio areas. The floating staircases flow throughout the network of external and internal terraces to the top floor that features a master suite and two guest rooms.

The entirety of the Ayvalaan House feels light, open and airy, while still giving off a luxurious vibe with loft-like features and beautiful natural surroundings.
