The ASICS Levitation Video Shows You the Shoe's Ability to Battle Gravity

With no help from computer animation or digital magic comes the ASICS Levitation campaign. VITRO San Diego built the world’s largest floating shoe for the ad, showcasing a replica of the ASICS GEL-Blur 33. The ASICS Levitation stands at 72 square feet, is made of 3,000 ping pong balls, and hovers 2 feet off the ground.

ASICS Levitation was filmed at a loft near downtown Los Angeles by TWC films. It took 2 industrial air compressors and 24 air valves to ensure that all 3,000 ping pong balls stayed off the ground. You can see VITRO’s ASICS Levitation commercial starting the week of April 11th during the NBA playoffs.
