After moving into a former Baltimore factory, 'The Copycat,' photographer/writer/online editor Rob Brulinksi and his creative partner Alex Wein decided to create a photo studio in the building; what they ended up with was an intimate series documenting the spaces of their artistic neighbors.
The Copycat not only offers creative freedom to its residents, but also a sense of community, making it the perfect place for artists to congregate. Every single resident in the building was photographed for the eye-opening series.
Of the project, Bulinski explains, "The universal story I took away from the residents were their sense of pride with creating art without a purpose beyond the sake of creation. My neighbors were magicians."
