The Ansen Seale 'Temporal Form' Series Distorts Reality

At first glance, and probably to the untrained eye, the Ansen Seale ‘Temporal Form’ series would seem to have been digitally manipulated. How wrong we would be. Astoundingly unique (at least, to my untrained eye), this collection distorts the human form, creating ghost-like representations.

Using slit-scan photography, the Ansen Seale ‘Temporal Form’ collection seems to question the human form rather than purposefully distorting it. What do you think?
