This new Altopack pasta packaging has been developed by the Italian machinery specialist as a way to help maximize the freshness of pasta products, while also addressing convenience and waste reduction concerns.
The packaging starts off with a transverse zip closure that's used in place of a traditional tear-open adhesive strips and can thus be easily closed after being accessed to maximize freshness. The packaging also allows for improved portion control by helping consumers to avoid the need to use more than they should, while also offering enhanced on-shelf impact thanks to its more premium look and feel.
The new Altopack pasta packaging could also accommodate the product being segmented into smaller servings inside to further prioritize ease of portioning.
