Geometric Lighting Series

The Allied Maker Lighting Series Uses Circular and Triangular Shapes

The new Allied Maker Lighting series is comprised of materials such as bent metal, carved wood, and embossed glass. The Long Island-based design and manufacturing label is a product of married duo Lanette and Ryden Rizzo. The two experiment with the concepts of circular and triangular shapes when crafting the four-piece lighting series. The four designs are the Tri Cone, the Grand Aperture 4, the Contour Wall Lamp 22, and the Concentric 15 -- all of which made their debuts last week at New York's Architectural Digest Design Show.

The Tri Cone is a pendant lamp that is encased within a cone-shaped shade with circular glass discs at the base of the piece. The Contour Wall Lamp 22 is constructed from bent metal with a glass globe at the bottom. The Grand Aperture 4 is a chandelier that is comprised of circular discs. Finally, the Concentric 15 is crafted in a wooden circle shade with ridges that create shadows and can be mounted onto a wall or the ceiling.
