ABOVE's Sticks and Stones Mural is Hugely Inspirational

This awesome Australian artwork re-vamps an old adage to give it new meaning. Artist ABOVE's Sticks and Stones mural makes miniscule mottos mighty. This gigantic installation is 200-feet long and resides on a blank strip of concrete wall. The installation uses mixed media to spell out a traditional motto which has been modernly revised: "sticks and stones may break my bones but words will always save me."

ABOVE ironically fell during the construction of the piece, suffering a concussion and breaking bones, but the determination to complete these words did save him! Along with the help of a team of local artists, ABOVE constructed this mighty mural using mediums such as wooden planks, spray paint, sticks and patterned paper. ABOVE's Sticks and Stones mural has made an ordinary wall wonderfully inspirational.
