Stark Color-Blocked Sneakers

New Balance's 237 Sneaker Gets a Green Palette Colorway

New Balance introduces a new tonal iteration of the 237 sneaker model for the season. The Japan branch of the sportswear brand unveils a Green color blocked version of the silhouette. The low cut model references retro design influence, nodding to the 420 sneaker, the 1300 sneaker, and the golfing Gator cleats as well.

The 237 is adorned in playful touches throughout. It boasts a construction of mesh, suede, and nylon materials making up the upper in a tapered off structure. The angular panels add some more dimension to the shoe and sits on top of a midsole in the same aesthetic. The warped heel panel toys with the visual, complete with the exposed foam behind the tongue and branding tag details.
