The Zero SR is a pioneering electric motorcycle that puts most petrol-powered bikes to shame, and in that sense may come to represent a historic shift in motorcycle history.
This innocuous-looking bike pumps out 70 horsepower and an impressive 106 pounds-feet of torque, more than most gas-powered superbikes. It can zoom from zero to 100 km/h in a ridiculous three seconds, and has a top speed of 160 km/h. The bike doesn't have a clutch or gears, and offers monstrous performance and acceleration.
Much of this bike's top-notch performance indicators are by-products of its built-in Li-ion Z-Force 11.4 Kilowatt-hour battery. The bike makes highly efficient use of its battery-powered energy. Given the same amount of energy contained in a gallon of petrol, the bike has a range of 462 miles.
