Quirky Daily Life Cartoons

The SFV Acid Sketch Series by Zane Reynolds is Hilariously Outlandish

Californian artist and illustrator Zane Reynolds' sketch series SFV Acid depicts his daily life in a collection of bizarre and quirky cartoons.

Inspired by his everyday experiences, Zane Reynolds chronicles his humorous outings and the people he meets in mostly black and white drawings. His sketches are done with marker and beautifully contrast bizarre curvy lines with dark shading. The drawings feature exaggerated shapes and bodies to tell the adventures of Reynolds and his friends in The San Fernando Valley. One image called "2 Freinds in Burbank" shows two men with their pants to their knees humorously mooning someone.

Zane Reynolds' creative drawing style and sketches can be seen in several of designer Yves Saint Laurent's ad campaigns.
