Minimalist Youth Hostels

This Space Was Designed to Accommodate Passing Travelers

Pingtian Village in China hosts this minimalist youth hostel that offers accommodations for travelers both young and old.

Called 'Papa's Home,' this building rests in the middle of the village and is surrounded by mountains and wooden and brick houses in the same rustic design it was built with. The interior is also rustic but was designed with modern elements. It features minimal furniture but takes advantage of light and space to create spacious accommodations in the form of individual square pods. Walls are semi-transparent, making them protective and also adding a modern look to the youth hostel.

This hostel is perfect for people travelling through this mountainous village looking for cheap and comfortable accommodations.
