XXX Extra Strong Mints Now Feature a Cardboard Packaging Design

The XXX Extra Strong mints from Tangerine Confectionery have been given a plastic-free overhaul to make them more appealing to consumers who are becoming increasingly aware of the materials affect on the environment. The mint packaging boasts a bold design that conveys the fresh nature of the product more prominently and makes them easily recognizable on store shelves. The new branding and packaging will be observed on single rolls as well as five-roll multipacks that will be hitting stores in January 2020.

Marketing and Category Director at Tangerine Confectionery Russel Tanner spoke on the new XXX Extra Strong mints packaging saying, "It’s vitally important we find ways to reduce single-use plastic packaging and as a business, we are always looking for ways we can change our packaging to cut down on waste wherever possible in line with shelf life and food hygiene constraints’. This rebrand helps modernise XXX Mints and create a brand which clearly demonstrates XXX’s uniquely powerful mint flavour, while providing a more ethical, plastic-free packaging solution."
