The xMEMS XMC-1200 cooling platform has been engineered by the brand with the requirements of the smart technology market in mind to work well within a variety of product categories. The micro fan measures in at 46mm² to accommodate placement in very tight parameters including in smart glasses, augmented reality (AR) eyewear and more where heat dissipation is required but difficult to achieve. The micro fan draws 70mW of power and is rated to reduce temperatures by up to 10-degrees Celsius at a 1W thermal load, which would work particularly well in the face of advanced tech solutions, especially those with artificial intelligence (AI) features.
The xMEMS XMC-1200 cooling platform is projected to be production-ready by Q4 2027.
