Motion-Sensitive Fitness Apps

Rithmio EDGE is a Workout-Tracking App That Offers Tips and Stats

The Rithmio EDGE workout-tracking app allows users to get a better understanding of their fitness progress, distinguishes between seemingly similar exercises, such as hammer curl or bicep curl, and provides the ability to learn each athlete’s form in an unsupervised way.

In order to do this, the Rithmio EDGE uses motion sensitive technology that recognizes which exercises are being performed -- which is made possible by pairing the workout-tracking app with an 'Android Wear' smartwatch.

Once the two are connected, users have their work automatically input into the app so that they can set personal goals by comparing their previous duration, sets and repetitions as well as their active time versus resting time. In addition to this, the Rithmio EDGE's motion sensitivity alerts users if they are doing exercises with incorrect form, accurately counts your reps and updates your workout log.
