Israeli illustrator Noma Bar created this wooden pavilion called Birds Eye View as part of a Japanese Tree House project. This bird-shaped tree house is part of a series of pavilions that are scattered throughout the Kengo Kuma-designed Momofuku Ando nature center.
This playful bird-shaped tree house blends in with foliage as it is painted with various shades of green and brown. While the wings of this wooden pavilion almost touch the ground, its body swooshes up towards the sky. This allows the head of the bird to act as a lookout point because it sits at the highest point in Komoro, Nagano Prefecture.
When guests climb the nine meter pavilion's lookout point, they can see Mount Asama, which is an active volcano on the Honshū island in Japan.
