Mesh-Covered Lighting

The Wire Mesh Light by Kenji Fukushima Design Uses Copper Detailing

The Wire Mesh Light by Kenji Fukushima Design has the resemblance of a beehive. With the bottom half covered in a perforated copper material, the bees could take a few design tips from this distinct illuminator.

The copper material used throughout also gives the lamp an industrial look, and for those living in loft apartments, these are the types of designs that would go perfectly in that type of space. While the mesh section adds a different texture to the light, it also doesn't block off the rays, which can sometimes happen when the bulb is covered too much. There's nothing worse than using a light that doesn't brighten up the room, but the Wire Mesh Light will certainly do the job. Photo Credits: designboom, kenjifukushima
