The W-inter Wire Installation Geometrically Outlines the Space

Meagan Streader is an artist that recently put together a wire installation for the Australian Gallery that creatively outlines the space using a series of thin lights to create geometric shapes. The lights wrap around the curves and corners of the area prompting the viewer to consider the area in which they occupy.

The installation, entitled W-inter, is made using a series of thinly connected lights that glow and create segmented spaces around the gallery room. The lights are made from electro-luminated wire that glows brightly in the room thanks to the blacked out windows. The wires wrap around the room and draw attention to the empty spaces and the architectural design for visitors to consider.
