For over a decade, Duck Island Ice Cream has used Whittaker's chocolate in its ice cream, and Whittaker's Gumdrop Block is a new, limited-edition flavor developed in collaboration with the handcrafted ice cream creator. This treat for white chocolate lovers builds on a 28% cocoa white chocolate base with five unique gumdrop flavors throughout. Snackers are satisfied with chocolate that just tastes good, what they want is an experience packed with sensorial contrasts that turns each bite into something to pay attention to rather than mindlessly consume. "Gumdrop Block has got to be Whittaker's at its most playful," said Whittaker's CMO Soraya Cottin. "It's a flavor that's a little unexpected, very nostalgic, and unlike anything we've released before."
Ahead of the supermarket release, Whittaker's partnered with Duck Island Ice Cream to launch a tie-in, Bubble Gumdrop flavor that mixes Gumdrop Block into a bubblegum ice cream base.
