This Wheelchair LEGO figurine is one of the most important LEGO figures to be released.
Unveiled at the Nuremberg Toy Fair. the figurine is part of a brand new collection called 'Fun in the Park'. The collection is priced at around $43 and is set to be made available in July 2016 in the form of a 15-figure set. The set includes various characters including four children and a baby, but the star of the show is clearly the wheelchair figurine.
The Wheelchair LEGO figurine is an important step towards normalizing the presence of people with physical disabilities, and its inclusion in a toy set will surely help promote this line of thinking in children.
