Anuj Pate and Piyusha Naik Create the Wee Watch Rib Concept

Designers Anuj Pate and Piyusha Naik work together to create the Wee Watch Crib concept, which is a smart crib that is designed to help parents monitor their babies. Specifically, it can detect moisture to determine if a baby has wet the bed, using a similar technology as the ones that are used to detect soil moisture.

The sensor is able to find the water contents and also ensures that the design remains comfortable and spacious. Additionally, the crib also uses copper coils that are connected to the mattress to integrate the moisture detection hardware. This choice is because copper is known to be harmless for the baby in this instance. The sensors will detect moisture and let the parent know through the app efficiently.
