Pronovias Entered the Metaverse with Non-Fungible Dresses

Global bridalwear leader Pronovias likes to be first with everything it does so it's no surprise that it's the first in the bridal industry to launch wedding dress NFTs. Based on new designs from the 2023 Versailles collection unveiled during the brand's Barcelona Fashion Week show, three limited-edition non-fungible tokens were created.

The digital assets designed by Pronovias’ artistic director Alessandra Rinaudo, emulate the patterns, textures, beaded details and light-reflecting qualities of the real gowns. Only a limited number of the wedding dress NFTs will be sold at auction and they will only be activated as part of a 360-degree reveal of the 2023 collection.

While Cadenet takes the form of a two-piece with a semi-transparent strapless bodice, Charlotte is a soft, non-cupped dress with a mermaid design. Rounding out the trio, Pompadour is a showstopping gold lamé taffeta dress with a sash.
