The Waterlogue App Applies Realistic Watercolor Effects to Photos

Waterlogue is a gorgeous photo-editing app that applies watercolor effects to photos, like filters on Instagram. In the app, users have a choice of 12 pre-set watercolor effects to choose from that vary in color, wetness and pen outline levels. From there, a user can further customize a photo by adjusting its borders, lightness and details. Because the Waterlogue app users advanced image processing software, it does take some time to render the images, but its high-res exports are typically generated in a few seconds.

The Waterlogue app is $2.99 to download from the iTunes App Store and it is already getting a ton of love, including a feature from Apple this week that listed it as one of the ‘Best New Apps.’
