Design firm Heckeler Michels designs the Warp lamp for Spanish brand Arkoslight. It is a pendant lamp defined by a shade crafted from taut, which is a clear black textile. The Warp lamp's lampshade uses this material which is comparable to an elastic black textile which allowing light to carefully filter through a soft and gradient style.
Notably, instead of a light bulb, the light comes from a flat LED light source that is carefully nestled inside. Geckeler Michels explains, "Warp explores the fluidity and transparency of the textile in a simple gesture." Arkoslight continues, "The way in which its transparency filters the light and the tactile richness of the textile stand out at first glance."
