Handmade vintage bronze figurines that were made during the period from 1920 to 1960 by a man named Walter Bosse are absolutely adorable and serve as adorable little decorations in any space. Based in Austria, Walter Bosse designed dozens of these friendly-looking brass figurines and drew inspiration from animals.
Walter Bosse's collection of figurines is known as the 'Black Golden Line' and contains almost any animal imaginable. Each figurine is slightly personified and appears to be smiling. The collection includes a variety of different animals and creatures including cats, different types of dogs, hippos, owls, peacocks and even unicorns! Walter Bosse's collection is absolutely adorable and some of the figurines are worth quite a bit of money as collector's items. The entire Walter Bosse collection is now being mass-produced and available online at the Modern Vienna Bronze website.
