Victoria's Secret has debuted a new online marketplace on its website called 'VS&Co-Lab,' aiming to "[showcase] brands that align with its values of innovation and inclusivity."
The selection includes 19 brands, with 75 percent founded, owned, or led by women. For Love & Lemons and Frankies Bikinis, two of the featured companies, are among the brand's Victoria's Secret has acquired through minority stakes. Victoria's Secret acknowledges its place in the world of womenswear, especially in its customer base's day-to-day life. The brand aims to elevate its client-care strategies for those who choose to shop with them.
"Through leveraging the strength of Victoria’s Secret & Co. and our passionate customer base, we are meeting consumers where they are while simultaneously partnering with small businesses to drive economic empowerment for women and people of color," says Nigerian-American designer Buki Ade.
