Towering Religious Structures

Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir will be the Tallest Religious Building

InGenious Studio, an Indian architecture firm, has begun construction on 'Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir,' a Hindu temple in Uttar Pradesh, India. While there are countless Hindu temples in India, Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir will literal stand out from the rest due to its size: the temple, once completed, will be the tallest religious structure in the world.

Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir will eventually measure a towering 213 meters tall. While there are many commercial buildings that stand much taller -- the Eiffel Tower, for example, is 300 meters tall -- Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir will be by far the tallest religious building. It will surpass the Ulm Minster in Germany, which stands 162 meters tall.

Beyond religious facilities, the building will also house a theme park filled with rides, animatronics, and other attractions.
