The 'Virgin Volcanic' is a massive digging tool that will carry Richard Branson and other celebrities to the center of the earth in 2015. Branson announced this mission soon after director James Cameron went on a solo mission to the depths of the ocean.
The drill itself looks like it was drawn by Jules Verne himself (minus the Virgin logo on top). Traveling with Branson to the center of the earth will be The Black Eyed Peas, Tom Hanks and Seth Green. Branson hopes that lava-travel could be a part of the future where people travel through the earth instead of around it to save time.
While the Virgin Volcanic is obviously a joke, it's great to see that celebrities have a good sense of humor.
