Virgin Holidays Has Paul Mckenna Induce a Vacation High on the Public

When winter strikes, it's one of the busiest times of the year for travel—but for those who can't get away, or those who get the blues returning to their daily routines after a vacation, Virgin Holidays is offering up a unique solution.

Virgin Holidays teamed up with master hypnotist Paul McKenna to entrance members of the British public over their lunch breaks. With a session that lasts about 20 minutes, McKenna is able to induce 'Holiday Hypnosis,' leaving people with the same feeling that you'd get from a two-week holiday. He describes: "We'll simulate the feeling you get when the brain releases endorphins, the natural feel-good hormones often associated with a holiday." The service launched on January 5th at House of Fraser Bluewater and takes place in a "hypno–pod" that is only open to the public by appointment.
