Fearless Flight Apps

The Virgin Atlantic iPhone App Helps People Too Scared to Fly

Not one to be scared of heights or flying, I probably won’t have much use for the Virgin Atlantic iPhone app, but I’m sure plenty of people will. The Virgin Atlantic iPhone app called ‘Flying Without Fear’ teaches passengers how to get over their fear of flying.

Beginning with an intro by Sir Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Atlantic, the application offers videos of the in-flight experience with exercises that help passengers deal with wing movement and turbulence. If a person is struck by anxiety, they can press a ‘fear attack’ button for a breathing exercise and is reassured by the words, "This is natural. We know you’re scared. You will be ok."
