The Villa Saebin's Pedestrian Stair Offers Unobstructed Views

Greg Wright Architects designed the 'Villa Saebin' in a small neighborhood of Cape Town, South Africa. Located in a cul-de-sac in Tamboerskloof, the house has access to several beautiful mountain vistas, including the iconic Table Mountain, Lions Head and Signal Hill.

The home is vertically dispersed across five levels. The garage encompasses the lower level, while a private study can be found on the entrance floor. The main living level opens out towards the pool, terrace and garden. Among the open-plan design, bedrooms and courtyard gardens act as more diverse spaces within the home, offering a counterpoint to the vastness of the land.

A private pedestrian stairway is bounded on one side of the property, allowing it to open up towards the street. This feature is what sets it apart from the neighboring properties, which have their views limited.
