British watchmaker Vertex has unveiled a new Heritage Edition of its classic MP45 chronograph timepiece. The luxury wristwatch pays tribute to the original MP45 model that was first released in 1945.
Informed by the Vertex Mono-Pusher, the Heritage Edition MP45's styling is informed by vintage design cues. As a result, the watch is delivered in a 38mm brushed steel case with sapphire crystal glass, a black dial with a military-style broad arrow, and an old-school brown leather strap.
While the watch delivers a familiar WWII-era aesthetic, it also comes equipped with a variety of notable contemporary upgrades. These include a new Sellita SW510 MP manual mechanical movement and an aged X1 grade molded Super-LumiNova™ dial. According to the company, the Heritage Edition MP45 is being limited to a total of just 25 pieces, making it a desirable collector's item for fans of the British brand.
