Freaky Marionette Fashion Ads

The Versace for H&M Video is Weird but Fascinating

The highly anticipated Versace for H&M collection will soon hit stores (Nov. 17) and to promote it -- not that we fashionistas could forget -- the fashion label has revealed an interesting Versace for H&M video.

The commercial stars models Lindsey Wixson and Daphne Groeneveld (who also appeared in the Versace for H&M print ads) living in what seems to be a creepy dollhouse controlled by the designer Donatella Versace herself. In this commercial directed by Jonas Akerlund, both models act as marionettes and dolls. In one scene Groeneveld is shown creating clones of herself and then runs up a staircase, only to be picked up by a shadowed hand, which is the hand of Donatella Versace.

Although a touch creepy, the Versace for H&M video offers a fun way to look at the all of fabulous and fashionable pieces soon to be on offer.
