Vera Bugatti and Luigi Legno Create a Stunning Piece of Art

Participating at the Wicklow Arts Festival in Ireland, artists Vera Bugatti and Luigi Legno teamed up to create a gorgeous piece of 3D art.

Using the festival's theme of "Explore," Bugatti and Legno set about creating a piece based on the characters from the story of Alice in Wonderland. Overall the entire painting took two days and ended up measuring an impressive four meters by four meters. The piece depicts Alice holding an Irish flag, with the White Rabbit and a flying machine. With both characters looking particularly miserable and distraught, many visitors were left to interpret the meaning of the piece and its commentary about Ireland.

In order for visitors of the festival to best appreciate the 3D affect of the piece, Vera Bugattie and Luigi Legno set up a tripod with a lens that provided the best perspective.
