Ultra-Contemporary Vancouver Homes

D'Arcy Jones Architects Boast an Elegantly Chic House Aesthetic

Canadian studio D'Arcy Jones Architects overhauled a project for a Vancouver home that boldly answers the cues of contemporary design.

In terms of color palettes, the exterior and interior of the house create a strong contrast. While the cladding of the building is kept dark grey for an ultra-elegant feel, the interior of the hoe happens to be "snowy white."

The Vancouver home is given the name of 'The House With Two Bay Windows,' already creating a whimsical image of the architectural work. Naturally, the building also pays homage to the greenery outside.

D'Arcy Jones Architects was commissioned by an entrepreneurial couple who wanted some extra space for themselves, their two teenaged children and a grandparent.
