Shocking Cigarette Labels

UK Follows Canada With Graphic Attempt to Discourage Smoking

Until now cigarette packs in the UK have carried text warning that have been much larger than those in the US Apparently that hasn't lead to a steep enough decline in smoking which has recently been banned in public places in the UK. So, the UK will become the first EU member to print the photo warnings developed by the European Commission.

The catch is that the photo warnings are very shocking! This strategy has already been implemented for more than a year in Canada. Will the rest of the EU follow suit?
