Trust Bae Showcases the Culinary Perspectives of Female Chefs

Trust Bae is a new concept from Simplevenue and Sushi by Bou CEO Erika London in partnership with Rachael Ray and it promises to empower female chefs by showcasing their unique perspectives and supporting their journeys as restauranteurs. According to a study from Altrata, women lead less than 7% of United States restaurants and less than 5% are hospitality CEOs.

This new venture promises to raise up the next generation of female cooks and chefs, and with this concept, "each location will serve as an incubator of each woman chef's unique culinary concept." Trust Bae offers an intimate experience between diners, food and chefs, with intimate counter-style seating and guidance by those who know the food the best.

The first location in NYC opened on International Women's Day and it features a Japanese-style menu with Filipino influences by Celebrity Chef Frances Tariga.
