Transparent Luxe Laced Footwear

Maison Margiela's Transparent Tabi Lace-Ups are Made from PVB

Luxury fashion house Maison Margiela introduces a new footwear silhouette in the form of the Transparent Tabi Lace Up shoe. This is the latest iteration of the iconic Tabi design -- the house gives the split toe model an entirely clear construction.

The Tabi style has been synonymous to the house for decades now and it continues to explore new aesthetics. The Transparent Tabi shoe is constructed using PVB materials, also known as polyvinyl butyral to create the laced up shoes. The upper sits on top of a wide black sole unit paired together with a leather foot bed to offer wearers comfort. The medial side of the shoe has two eyelets to provide breathability.
