Tokyo Taxi Operator Nihon Kotsu is Giving Out Samples of Suntory Tea

In order to help people get to where they need to go and leave them feeling refreshed in the heat of summer, Tokyo taxi service Nihon Kotsu will be serving free samples of Suntory’s Iemon green tea.

These 'Lemon Hospitality Taxis' are decked out with traditional screen tapestries that are typically displayed at the entrances to Japanese shops and restaurants. In addition to receiving a complimentary 500-milliliter bottle of chilled Summer Iemon green tea, Nihon Kotsu taxi passengers will also be gifted a folding paper fan and slippers.

With the rise of ridesharing, taxis and other shared methods of transportation have become popular ways to market a product or service, especially since a passenger's attention can easily be captured while they wait to reach their end destination.
