‘Tower Series’ is a set of illustrations by Toby Melville-Brown featuring amazing fictional skyscrapers. The British artist created the series due to his "fascination with the synthetic landscape we have constructed around ourselves." There are three buildings in the Tower Series: Favela Arch, Regency Tower and Power Station. Each drawing incorporates elements of buildings that already exist. However, Melville-Brown takes these buildings to the extreme by asking "what if?"
Favela Arch is essentially a cluster of buildings literally built on top of one another. Regency Tower is a trophy-shaped building that looks a bit like a candelabra. Power Station is a giant, do-all industrial building. All of the images from Toby Melville-Brown’s series look as if they can straight from a futuristic sci-fi novel, which they might as well have.
