Apple Fitness Plus Launches 'Time to Run' and 'Collections'

Apple has announced that it will be launching two new features for Apple Fitness Plus called 'Time to Run' and 'Collections.'

Debuting on January 10, Time to Run is a new audio running experience designed to help users "become more consistent and better runners." Built around specific running sessions, the feature encourages users to attempt popular running routes in specific locations. In addition, each session is led by an Apple Fitness Plus trainer, including Jamie-Ray Hartshorne, Sam Sanchez, Emily Fayette, and Scott Carvin. Moreover, sessions will come with a pre-made playlist curated to match the intensity of the workout and the spirit of the location.

Meanwhile, Collections features a range of over 2,000 curated workouts and meditations. The new tool intends for users to select several of these new studio workouts to build a fitness regime that they can complete in a specific time frame. Similar to Time to Run, Collections aims to improve user accountability.
