Artist Fong Qi Wei has elevated his style of work to incredible new heights by using time lapse art in order to demonstrate cityscapes.
Wei took pictures of the same spot every two to four hours in order to catch the different gradients and colors that pass over a location throughout the day. After he was done taking the pictures, he then spliced the photos and created a collage combining the different shots together. Putting all the different shots together has created an interesting look to his photos. Even though the pictures are still showcasing the same building, the difference in all the spliced pictures makes it look as though it is a painting. Fong Qi Wei has been able to create stunning collaged pieces, and has shown that time lapse art is a great way to create interest in your pieces.
