TikTok Pro Events is a new standalone app from the social media platform that's dedicated to social events and cultural milestones to encourage users to engage with one another, explore trending videos and more.
The app is arriving in a timely manner to coincide with the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup and will allow users aged 18 and up to earn Stars that can be redeemed for exclusive benefits. These Stars are earned by completing fan focused activities in the app and will start off by providing fans with FIFA World Cup merchandise this summer.
The TikTok Pro Events app is available now for download in the US and comes as part of the platform's expansion into additional categories to help open new revenue streams.
