Nature-Infused Industrial Factories

The Firm Tianhua Attempts to Naturalize a Factory in China

Tianhua Architecture Firm is trying to turn an industrial factory in China into something more appealing, both for the workers and passersby.

The new design features much more green space, since right now there is none in sight. Water and plants will be seen from the outside as well as within, which should make for a better environment. Industrial factories are not exactly known to be eco-friendly, so this is an attempt to improve the perception of these types of buildings in China. There will definitely be a strong juxtaposition between the new materials put in place and the old ones. In a way having the older structure integrated serves as a reminder to just how far the building has come. Photo Credits: designboom, thape
