All in One Furniture

The Unit Has A Kitchen, Table, Fridge & Bathtub

The motivation behind designer's Philippe Malouin's The Unit is the fact that the average European flat ranges from 30 to 50 square meters.

Since space has become a luxury, the furniture must be ultra compact and accomplish a maximum amount of tasks.

With this design, Malouin wanted to comprise and squeeze two rooms into one piece of furniture. The unit is a kitchen, a table, a refrigerator and a bath tub. All in one beautifully design piece.

The Unit's construction is based on surfboard manufacturing techniques, which makes the unit extremely light and ultra portable.
