The futurists of 100 years ago would have drooled over this piece and the tremendous dynamism that it exudes.
But the sculpture is very much a product of the contemporary period with its use of recycled construction materials and its manipulation by cutting-edge parametric modeling. Dozens of sharp three-pronged darts have been creased and connected into the organic shape of a flock of birds or a school of fish.
