The Riveter is a co-working space based in Seattle that was created to help inspire and support working women.
The space was created by the former Wall Street lawyer Amy Nelson along with Kim Peltola, who wanted to challenge biases in the professional world that may prevent women from succeeding to the best of their abilities in the workplace. It was created to be a space that female founders and freelancers are able to work and collaborate in, without the interference of sexism and misogyny that is common in many workplaces.
