The single malt scotch has been aged for a staggering 81-years, which makes it the distillery's oldest ever and puts it in the ranks of the most sought after spirits on the market. The scotch is reported to have an almost cognac-like hue with dark chocolate, cinnamon and peat on the nose, and treacle coffee, licorice, bramble jam, charred pineapple, crystallized ginger, spices and wood on the palate.
The Macallan Reach Single Malt comes packaged in an elegant decanter that sits atop three sculpted bronze hands that hold it elegantly upwards. Limited to just 288 bottles, the spirit is priced at $125,000.
