The Human Gallery Displays Real Inked People as Fine Art

The Human Gallery is a unique art space that opened this week to the delight of London, England, residents and visitors. Celebrating The International London Tattoo Convention, it puts a ton of stunning inked skin artistry on display, but not in the way people might have expected. Instead of showing photographs, The Human Gallery displays the human body as fine art.

Standing in giant gold frames, scantily clad participants show off the art on their bodies for The Human Gallery. Their tattoos were the design of renowned ink artists including Lal Hardy, Alex ‘Kofuu’ Reinke Horikitsune and Cally-Jo. Hardy says, "There’s no better way to celebrate the ink masters of the modern era than at the opening of the art gallery of skin."
