Known for its artisanal range of lifestyle products, retailer Best Made Company prides itself on a selection that marries aesthetics and function -- something The Field Chest embodies. The compartmentalized storage unit is a remixed version of a classic design and is intricately remodeled after an original chest owned by Robert Edison Fulton, an inventor and avid traveler.
Bringing a vintage aesthetic to life, The Field Chest by Best Made Company was designed in collaboration with artist Ross MacDonald and crafted by Dayton-based wood artisans Gerstner & Sons. The wood-constructed piece is "made from American cherry wood with polished brass hardware throughout" and boasts a built-in clock, 12 drawers of different sizes, and a secret storage compartment located behind the clock.
